Latin Model Agencies - The Beginning

The People

Leo Wernli -- A university graduate from his country's state university in Switzerland, Leo was a real gentleman liked by many. Leo was the pioneer if there was one, sadly passing in 2002.

Luz Amparo -- Luz is a nice lady and a pioneer as well. Giving the agencies class and a good reputation, Luz continues to run day to day operations in Cali. A Calena, Luz lived in Chicago many years, then Texas and Miami before returning to her native Colombia in the late 1980's.

Ed Beckwith -- Ed was to the Colombian introduction agency what Pete Rozelle was to the NFL. Ed's vision of agencies really opened the game to Europe and the US. Ed was the missing gap between Colombia and the US/Europe. Ed's marketing ideas and overall general concept of marketing Colombian women was right up there with Coca-Cola (back in their day). Ed currently owns and operates www.latinmodelsinc.com. Originally from Maine, Ed worked for the Federal Government before moving to South Florida. He started the Infamous Latin Connections 1988 and claims 2500 marriages during the Latin Connections era.

Professional and Amateur Models

There are some models who are working on a regular basis and others who only do a few commercials per month. Many only work part-time at best.  We have pre-qualified them as women definitely interested in meeting and dating our clients. They are normally in the 23-29 age range.  There just isn't a big demand for women over 23 or 24 as there are newer, younger models coming into the marketplace everyday, replacing them.  They are definitely more mature, still beautiful and have different aspirations and an understanding that they've already had a successful modeling career for 3-5 years and are ready to move on with their lives. They are therefore ready to date and establish meaningful relationships with our male clients.

Women who resemble models

Women, all ages who resemble models, many with humble opinions of their beauty.  Some of them initially had aspirations to become models but either did not have sufficient finances for proper model schooling or were otherwise unable to go to school due other mitigating circumstances.

Former Colombian Models

These are women who are generally between 30-40 years of age. These women also have completed a successful or sometimes unsuccessful career and are interested in serious type relationships and potential marriage with gentlemen 35-65.
